Confused about disk image

I was checking on things taking up a lot of space on my iMac today and in documents found something that is named:

PremiereElements_15_WWEFDJ.dmg

The kind is disk image, last accessed 1/1/17, and the size is 2.11 GB.

I have the Adobe Creative Suite but I never use Elements, which I believe is a video editor. I don't even remember ever buying it.

Could someone tell me what this is and if I can delete it?

Did you download a trial for it?

That does appear to be the installation file for Premiere Elements.  If you feel uneasy about deleting it, just make a note of its location and move it to an external drive and archive it until you feel better about deleting it.
