CR2 files canon d6

on opening my raw CR2 files  from my Canon D6  i find Elements 9 cannot process them

Unless you're asking about Photoshop Elements, which certainly can work with CR2 photos.

But if you want to use the photos in a Premiere Elements video, John is right. You'll need to convert it to a more conventional image file.
