dji phantom 4 video imports not working consistently HELP

Hello I have looked and there are similar posts but not quite the same scenario for my error message importer reported a generic error.

The drone imagery is mp4 and it happens to about 2 thirds of the footage we try to open. Drone is DJI Phantom 4 PRO

We received a different error message and then did an update. Now it is generic rather than something like some of the codec is missing...

I can probably recreate the original error message on my other computer with adobe without the updates if you need that.  Also noting many others with this same issue using the phantom 4 pro

If its HVEC dont think it supported in Elements.
