Do I have to pay for Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 even though I own a previous version?

I own Adobe Premiere Elements 13. Do I still have to pay for Adobe Premiere Elements 2021?

Yes... why would you think that you don't need to pay for a newer version?

Yes, in the same way that a car manufacturer will make you pay for a 2021 model even though you puchased a 2010 model.

You will, however, qualify for a price discount.

Depending upon where one is located it may be cheaper to purchase the new version rather than an upgrade from Adobe.  I found this to be the case for me.
