Does Elements output 18 fps?

New Here ,

I am currently working on some Super 8 scans, which run 18 fps.

I am using Elements version 11, an this version doesn't support output in that framerate.

Does the new version (2019) support output for 18 fps? As I would like to obtain the original framerate for this material.

I looked in 2019 and I could not find a choice for 18 fps.   There are a lot of choices including 15 and 23.9, but not 18.

Without knowing your procedures, is your scanning system producing video files at 18 fps?

Before you get too far into it, Premiere Elements can get balky with video formats that are not from common cameras.   Be sure your scanned video files are editable.

The current version is always available for a 30 day free trial.

Well, the scanning is merged to an AVI file containing 18 fps. It is indeed editable.

Thanks for your answer. I might give the trial a go.

Hi troley,

I agree with whsprague. Premiere Elements does not have an option to export with 18fps frame rate. I have attached a screenshot of the frame rate values available.

Thanks,

Shivangi
