Elements 2021 video/Audio sync shift

After moving a video clip that was imported from a pc file which was imported from an SD card into Project assets, when moving to the Timeline I get a audio shift of about 0.75 sec, Then the video and audio are not synced. Checking the original video file before import to Proj Assets the sync is good. How do I prevent the shift?

What is the source and specifications of the video clips?

If the footage is variable framerate convert to constant framerate with Handbrake or Shutter Encoder before bringing into Elements.
