Elements 2023 " Installation failed. An error occured during installation."

After downloading the trial version of Elements 2023, I get a message saying "Installation failed. An error occured during installation." I've installed/uninstalled it 3 times now.  The message doesn't show any error code.

 I just got this laptop a few days ago and it had Mac OS Ventura 13.0. Checked the updates and was able to update to 13.2 and it worked like a charm. No problems with the installation.
