Elements crashes doing anything

Please help!!!

Ive installed elements and everytime I add a video and click play it thinks then crashes.

My PC is more than capable of running the program.

Ive uninstalled reinstalled etc.... nothing works....

Can you be more specific?

Which version of the program are you running on what operating system?

What processor do you have with how much RAM? How much free, clean, freshly defragmented space is on your hard drive?

Does it crash before you add media to it or after? If it crashes only after you add video, what model of camcorder is your video coming from and what is the format and resolution of your video?
