Export issues with PE 2025 from AVI-DV source

I'm looking for some guidance about the correct export settings in PE 2025. I have some older video footage (2000-2010) that was captured and imported from a Sony Digital8 camcorder. I want to split the footage into smaller, more consumable segments that I will share with my family through Plex. I originally chose the "Match Source - Adaptive High Bitrate" preset under Computer, with the H.264 format. Everything seemed to work great, but when my family went to play the video through Plex, they found that the footage was unwatchable due to interlacing artifacts. I wonder if there's a preset or other setting I could choose to a) remove the artifacts, and b) maintain essentially the same level of video quality, especially when viewed through Plex. File size isn't that important to me.

Here's the MediaInfo for the original footage:

Format is H.264

Try this: it also will get rid of the pixel aspect ratio used in old dv footage.

If you export to progressive, interlacing shouldn't be an issue.

Both this and the previous suggestion (to change the Field Order to Progressive) resolved the issues I was seeing. It turns out that only some clients showed the artifacts, so the  "Match Source" would probably have worked in most cases. Either way, thanks for the help!

I didnt get artifacts on exporting a DV interlace footage to the above preset.

Please share a small clip with me where you are seeing this issue. Also share the exported file (or screenshot of the output)
