Hi! I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to set a default font on Premiere Elements 2021 because it's a pain when I have to change it every time while doing subtitles for my videos.

I've not ever been able to figure that out.  I hope someone else can.

A few years ago, Steve Grisetti answered a similar question with "In Title Adjustments, go to Styles. Right-click on a Text Style and you can make it your default font."   I can't get that to work.

Rather than using the text tool on the right of the screen, try using the drop down "Text" menu at the top.    Text > New Text > Default Text.   The two work differently on my computer!

That is what I do, but I can't figure out how to set my own default text.

What I do is create a basic subtitle, with my font, color, shape etc. that
would be title 1. Then I copy and save as title 2 and on. Repeat for next
sub title.
