I have created several (text based) titles which include animations such as scrolling text.
When exporting the files in .prtl format, and importing them into a new project, all animations are lost.
How can I create re-usable animated titles?

How did you manage to export a prtl file in Elements
Prtl files are used in PrPro and do not contain animations.

I selected the file in Project Assets, right clicked, and selected "Export Title".
How do I create animated titles that can be exported or saved, so that I can reuse them again and again with future projects?

Please verify the PrE 2021 build number by choosing Help > About Premiere Elements

Hi John - does the ability to create reusable titles depend on the build number? Prior to what number is creating these possible/not possible?

Ann said "Prtl files are used in PrPro" so I am only trying to verify which version of Premiere Elements you have... since it may be that Adobe has added the option to the latest 2021.3 version of PrE

I had never done so before, but I went to an old project with my PrE 2021.3 and exported a title... which created a .prtl file
I was able to import that .prtl file as a new title... but, since I had 'simple' text I can't comment on animations

Yes, exporting works, but any - even simple - animation is lost.
The build version I see under "Help / About .." is "version 18.0 (20201207. ...)
I tried to click on "Help / Update..." to get me to the latest version (you mentioned you have 2021.3), but the Update button is grayed out.
I installed PrE in January of this year (2021), so I thought updates were included for 1 year; is this incorrect? Or is there a different way to update?

As far as I know, version 18 means PrE 2020, not 2021 so there may not be an update available
