Hello everyone here!
I love my Mac and all, but one of the things I definetly *do not* like is the very jealous manner in which photos/videos are managed in the Photos app. I just cannot find a way to export my video clips into Pre Elements directly into Premiere Elements. Sadly, Adobe is another culprit because it does not show a way to import assets from Photos.
Both sides seem stubborn in their ways and I am here struggling to even begin a project in Pre Elements. I think that maybe I should export the video clip from Photos to a "normal" folder on my Mac, and then import from there. But, that way I will have an original, a copy and perhaps another version of the same clip when I save it on a Premiere file.
Apple and Adobe shame on you for making things difficult!
What am I missing here? There's probably something staring at me and I do no see it.
AFAIK, this is the same in Photoshop elements.
Any help? Thank you.

I don't have and never have had a Mac so I google searched "where are video files in mac photos". I found several explainations on how Apple hides them in in the Photos app. They are in a "Library" that you can get to with Finder.
I also tried ChatGBT for an explaination and got this:

Thank you.
I *know* how to find my videos/photos in my Mac.
The problem is how to *export/import* them directly from Mac Photos into Premiere/Photoshop elements.

Again, I don't have a Mac. On a PC, you can find a video file in Explorer then drag and drop it to a Premiere Elements project. On a Mac, I would expect that you would use Finder instead of Explorer to do the same thing. Another more "old school" method would be to use the Add Media section in an open project.
