I purchased the Premiere Elements 2021 on the 10th of December and everything was running smoothly. The next day I tried to run Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 through the Desktop shortcut and I got a white screen. I restarted my Laptop but unfortunately I got again the same screen.

I tried to load the PremiereElementsEditor.exe directly from C:\Adobe Premiere\Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 and it works.

How can I fix it and launch the Home Screen again?

My System Specs are the following:

Windows 10 Home
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4210U CPU @ 1.70GHz 1.70 GHz
8.00 GB

SanDisk SDSSDH3 500G

Thanks in advance!

You don't say which graphics card you have but start by updating its driver.

First, ensure you have the latest Windows updates. Then go to the AMD or nVidia site and download the latest drivers directly from the card's manufacturer rather than using the Windows provided driver. nVidia, for instance, just issued a new set of drivers yesterday.

My graphics card is a NVIDIA GeForce GT820M.

This is a clean format and the all the drivers are updated according to the Dell Application. In any case I will check NVIDIA website.

This time I tried to Run the Desktop shortcut for premiere elements and I got a configuration error 16. Whats going on?

If it were me, I would start a remote session with Adobe technitions.  They can connect with your computer and troubleshoot.   https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html
