Hi All
After completing a video timeline I needed to correct the lighting. I've applied an auto lighting fix and it seemed to do the trick but I've since rendered the video and now during playback on the editor I have diagonal bands through moving elements of the video. I fear I may have to go back and create a whole new video. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 2018. On further inspection the bands are horizontal not diagonal.

Something like that is USUALLY a problem with a video driver
IF Windows
Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers
Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter
.
nVidia Driver Downloads https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
-for all Adobe programs use the STUDIO driver, not the GAMING driver
-To achieve the highest level of reliability, Studio Drivers undergo extensive
-testing against multi-app creator workflows and multiple revisions of the top
-creative applications from Adobe to Autodesk and beyond
.
If you have a laptop you MAY also need to check for a laptop specific nVidia driver
-SOME laptops require an approved driver from the laptop company, not nVidia
.
AMD/ATI Driver https://www.amd.com/en/support

You wrote, "since rendered the video". Do you mean preview render for editing or final output render for sharing? In other words, is it in the finished video? And, which "auto lighting fix"?

The video will take a while to export...

Use the "work area bars" to export and test a small section.

I tried using the work area bars but didn't seem to get the result I required. Upon starting export after moving the bars it seemed to start exporting all the video. I have since exported the whole video and it's fine now exported. Thanks.

It is good that you have it working. In the future, if yo want to restrict output with the work area bars you have to check a box in the output dialog that says to keep the output within the bars.

There is nothing to stop you exporting the video-so-far and taking a look at the results in VLC media player.
