Image size changed to opposite

New Here ,
Oct 11, 2017 Oct 11, 2017

In my project some of the image sizes of video clips have changed to opposite: 1920x1080 > 1080x1920. What went wrong? How can I bring them back to right size? I' m using premiere elements 14.

You're saying that your video is taller than wide?

Where did this video come from? Was it shot in portrait rather than landscape?

All videos on my project was taken with the same mobilephone. Every clip was OK when started editing. Later when I added still image some of the clips turned opposite. Not every one. Now I don't know how they can be restored.

And somehow those opposite clips rotated 90 degrees left and they are now on one's side.

I don't know what you mean by "very clip was OK when started editing. Later when I added still image some of the clips turned opposite. "

What are the dimensions and resolution of your video clips? What format of video are they?

When you first added them to your Premiere Elements project, did you see a yellow orange 'render' line above them? This render line would indicate that your project settings and video specs do not match.

Sorry, I don't remember when I added my first clip was there orange line, but there sure is now.

All clips are file type  MPEGMovie, Image size is 1920x1080 and frame rate 29,97. And they all were horizontally filmed.

Later when I was editing, image sizes  of some clips turned 1080x1920.

Note that the Properties you show for one clip says 1920x1080 -- wider than tall, while the other says 1080x1920 -- taller than wide.

How did you rotate the 1080x1920 clip so that it fits into your project?
