Hi,

when importing an mp4.* from my computer (using add media)  the video turns automatically by 90°. What can be done to avoid this which is a precondition for working with Premiere Elements?

Regards

The best solution is to add the video to your timeline and then open Applied Effects/Motion and set the rotation so that your video is rigth side up. Then use Export & Share to output your movie as an MP4 at the same resolution.

You can then use this output video as your raw footage for your project.
