Please could someone advise me. I have an edited video on my removal hard disk and want to print it onto disk.
The video loads ok on to Premier Elements 14 and I press 'Export and save'.
I click on the disk symbol then 'dvd' and so onto until 'scan'; all is ok up to this point.
When I press 'burn', a grey box comes on the screen with the word 'indexing' and a task bar underneath. After leaving this a long time, it becomes obvious the task bar is not going to fill and the video won't start burning.
Does anyone know please why this might be happening?
cheers
John W

How long is your movie?
What processor do you have with how much RAM? How much free, clean, defragmented space is on your hard drive?
What model of camcorder did your original movie come from and what is this video's format and resolution?
Is there blank spot on your project's timeline that does not have video?
Do you have a stop marker on your video?

Hello Steve
Thank you for your advice.
The video is 5 minutes longs. I don't know how RAM there is on my processor but the thing that really does not make sense is that the video was downloaded and edited onto my computer and stored in a file on my desktop, from which I edited it using Elements 14 and I successfully burned this onto a disk!
I am trying the same video using the the same computer; the only difference now is that I transferred the video file from my computer to a remote hard drive. The video is fully accessible from the remote facility onto my computer and everything looks fine when I watch it using Elements 14 but some reason 'indexing' comes up now when I try to burn a disc.
What can have changed?

I don't know what you've changed. But without the information requested, we can't help you troubleshoot it.
