Hello Everybody
I suspect an uncompatibility of PE9 V 9.0.1 with W11.
Of course, it is an old version, that I used tu run on W10 , but the computer is now very slow, and I changed for un newer machine. I have serched if there is a known uncompatibility and I finded nothing.
So, I tried the installation on a first machine an Asus. No problem during the installation up to the final reboot which crashed all the computer with neither boot sequence nor windows starting. I had to leave the computer in the shop, as they could not restart it, and i changed the model for an LG 17Z90R.
A very similar scenario occured after the installation, except that I could restore W11 but a "small bug" appeared. One of the USB port of the machine was affected: only USB keys were recognized and not other devices as hard disk, CD/DVD reader.
I came back to the shop where they tried to veryfy the USB drivers, but got no succes. They will return the computer to the constructor, so, I asked for a new exchange (my computer is bought during october).
Now, I am searching what to do to install that program, which is sufficient for my need. May be, Adobe has developped an up to date permetting the installation without problem.
Thank you for my information.
PS: now, since some manipulations on my W10 computer on which PE9 is installed, I am unable to run it: a warning occurs during the starting of PE, mentioning a problem with the display card, and it is impossible to preview the video.

If it were me, I would not even try to get a 13 year old program to run on a new computer and operating system. There would be too many mismatches. Additionally, most versions of Premiere Elements have downloaded accessories that have long been taken down.

In addition to the advice given by Bill Sprague , that old version may not have support for some of the newer file formats now being used.

Hello
I will not try again an installation on W11, but I would like, sometimes, to continue working with that version on my W10 computer where it is installed since the beginning.
After a bad manipulation of the register (however restored), when starting PE9 I have the next warning that I ignore (by OK),
it is impossible to display the sequences. Only a fixed picture is displayed while sound is well heard.
The up to date of the display drivers don't have any effect on the problem.
Do you have any suggestion to progress a little?
Many thanks in advance.

I have no idea how to make really old software work on new equipment. Maybe you can find a really old Nvidia driver that matches well enough to make it work.
