help says that the premiere elements supports the ctrl Alt and arrow keys.
they should nudge the selected clip by 5 pixels.
useful feature, but it does not work.
fix the feature, or fix the help.
Thanks for your patience. I checked the list of default keyboard shortcuts, however, I could not find the shortcut ctrl Alt and arrow keys as mentioned by you.

how long does it take to get an answer?
adobe program does not do what the help says it does.
does no one know what it does
and what it is supposed to do??
one answer I got from an adobe professional
is that the help is wrong.
note that the original search for help was back in early august.
it is october 14th, and I still have no answer.
I am sorry for the delay in response. I took off for a few days.
I tested the keyboard shortcuts that you've mentioned. It doesn't work at my end too. I am using PRE 2020 with Windows 10. I am sharing it with the product team for further tests. Also, I am going to test it on PRE 2021.

I was making a video with 15 images on one screen. trying to mouse them into position is imprecise.. it would be a very valuable feature.
I first asked this question on August 15th
it is almost 90 days later, and no answer.
support help system has failed big time.
ADOBE, you need to do better.
after a problem comes to light, in your support group,
90 days go by, and no help, no solution.
1-you have a design problem.
2-you have a QC problem.
3-you have a management problem.
4-you have a support problem.
the adobe help information on line was incorrect.
the adobe help is still correct.
the program still does not do what it is supposed to do.
earth to adobe.
where is the professional help for this problem?
where is my answer?
4 months waiting for adobe support.

I am amazed that this thread has taken a half year
to get any resonse from Adobe, much less an answer.
I do not yet find this forum a place to get answers to adobe problems.
It is a user to user forum. Adobe employes visit on their own time. I wish they visited more often.
I am guessing if it does get fixed it wont be before 2022 edition.
it does seem that they should have a better plan in place.it's sad that a defect in a project and the documentation both gets by qc in the first place, and second two employees respond, and both explain the answer to me, and both are wrong. both said they would respond back to me, and neither did. all this after adobe support went around and around without listening or understanding either the question, or the adobe product / help

I'm extremely sorry. Somehow, I missed out on the notifications for this thread. I was in conversation with our product team. They have identified this as a known issue and working on a fix.
any idea what year this might be solved?

This is still a user to user forum. Adobe staff does not regularly visit this site or offer solutions.
Additionally, India is struggling with a major health crisis right now.
I don't know that it's productive to just show up every couple of months to complain.
I have tried adobe support chat.
I can tell them what happened and who promised what before.
they have yet to find it.
they have yet to help.
nothing they have said helped.
actually, most of them were wrong.
most referred me to the online manual which is also wrong.
it would seem that adobe is too big to have so many problems.
and I think you may have responded to my very first questions,
and you were right, and help was wrong.
adobe should have a direct route for adobe community professionals
to channel info from frustrated users
to the adobe people who should fix the problem.
over a year.
Alas Adobe wont release a dot version just for a couple of keyboard shortcuts.
Have to wait until the next release.
