Hello !
I've been trying to import a video recorded from my iPhone. I got the HVEC extension from Microsoft so I don't have error message anymore when importing in Premiere Elements or in Premiere Organizer, but my video is displayed in a weird way:
Any idea how to fix this please ?
Thanks a lot !

Which version of the program are you using?
Also, open your MOV file in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy the complete report on your video and paste it to this forum. This information may reveal to us what's going on.

There are a couple issues Premiere Elements may be struggling with. For one thing, your video is 2702x1552, a resolution Premiere Elements isn't capable of working well with. It is also a 60 fps HEVC with a 90 degree rotation and a variable frame rate.
There are ways to convert the video to a more standard format, but it might be easier to start at the source. As an experiment, go to your camera settings and set it to shoot a 1920x1080 video at 30 fps. Then start a new Premiere Elements project (You didn't say what your project settings were) and see if you get better results.

Steve writes the books and creates to tutorials and knows the subject. You post that you are using the trial version. Most of us have only one phone and we will typically keep it for awhile. That creates a problem and it seems worst with Apple phones. Apple is exceptionally good at being on the cutting edge with new models. Until a phone is released, the specifications and features are secret. That means that third party companies like Adobe will be left behind. The choice for the owner of an Apple phone is to use the "most compatable" format selections or use Apple provided products, often on Apple tablets or computers.
In other words, Premiere Elements is an outstanding program but may not be the best choice if you are expecting all of the iPhone features to work.
