How is it possible that this software doesn't show all the audio tracks in the MP4 file?

THIS IS SO DISAPPOINTING. I AM SO FRUSTRATED.

If there is a way to do this please let me know. Otherwise, I may pursue a refund.

If that's your dealbreaker, you should look to other software.

I have a question that I think this thread may have already answered, but I'm hoping for clarificaiton. I'm using my iphone and the Rode Wireless Go II microphone to record interviews. I'm recording the audio on two tracks so  each speaker is being recorded on a separate track. But, when I import the video into Adobe Premiere Elelments, I only see one track with both speakers. I'd like to be able to see the audio tracks separately so I can edit them separately. Is there a way to do that in Adobe Premiere Elements 2023? Thanks for any help you can provide.

This might work:

Copy (hold alt on audio track) and past track so you have two instances.

Put Fill Left with right  on one track and Fill right with left on the other

Ann's suggestion should work very well!  If not, there are a couple other things that might be checked.

The Wireless Go II has a lot of settings!  One on the reciver is the choice between "Merged" and "Split".  Double check you have "Split" selected.   The reciever to iPhone adapter may also be merging the two tracks.

Thanks very much for your reply. I’m using the Rode SC 15 cable to connect
the mic to my iPhone. Based on my internet research, this should be the
correct cable to allow recording on two tracks onto the iPhone. I did check
the mic and it showed that it was recording in two track mode. I haven’t
been able to find the fill left and fill right option in Adobe Premiere
Elements. If you have any suggestions on that, please let me know. Thanks
again. --

Thanks very much for your reply. I can’t seem to find an option for left
fill and right fill in Adobe Premiere Elements. I’ve seen instructions for
how to do that in Premiere Pro, but not Elements. Would you be able to tell
me where to go in Elements to do left and right fill? Thanks again. --

Fill right/left are audio effects.

Might want to look under Effects > Audio
