I created a project in Premiere Elements 2019 using my Macbook Pro 2018.

Now I need to open the .prel file in Premiere Pro but premiere pro will not open it. I get a message the files can't be found, although there are all there.

Does the project file actually open, but the files are offline, or does it not open at all?

Can you post a screenshot?

First screen is a message saying the project was originally created by Elements and that I will open it in Premiere Pro.

Second message is that it can't locate the files. I manually select all the files and then it opens, it seems there is no issue at all. The audio and video project files are there BUT there is no events in the timeline.
