At one time I used Photo Shop and had a Creative Cloud subscription however I found that Element15 satistfied my photo editing needs. I cancelle3d my Creative Claoud subscription on the iunderstanding that I would not need it given that I paid retail for Eleements. Every time I try to open Elements howver I get an Adobe popup that says I have to renew my subscription to Craetive Cloud to use Elements. Does anyone have this problem and/or does nayone have a work around. I have talked to "suipport" twice and they don't have a solution. Any thoughts would be3 appreciated. Any suggestions on Elements alternaives would also be appreciated - I really like Elements but I do not weant to pay for a Creative Cloud subscription when I already paid for Elements.

You do not need a Creative Cloud subscription to use Photoshop Elements or Premier Elements. You do have an Adobe account. You had to create it when you enterned the serial number into your Elements software at installation. I'm not sure, but Adobe might require you to occsionally connect to your Adobe account long enough to verify your serial number/purchace. In the help menu there are choices to manage or login/logout to your account. Are you logged in? Can you post a screen shot of the "popup"?
Other software? I truely enjoy the several versions of Lightroom coupled with Photoshop and Myportfolio. My wife likes Corel Painshop Pro. GIMP is free. Both Apple iOS and Microsoft Windows have built in editors. There is Skylum Luminar, Capture One, ON1 and plenty more that all have fans and users.

De-install everything Adobe from your machine and Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems
Then re-install E15.
See how that goes.
