Option to bypass Home Screen and launch apps directly

I think there should be an option to bypass Home Screen and launch Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements apps directly from desktop. I know there is a way around by creating desktop shortcuts, but not everyone can do it.

I agree and that was a feature several versions back.  I doubt it will come back.  The abilty to launch the Elements programs directly is easy enough by finding the appropriate .exe file.  Are you asking how to do it?
