If you're saying you're adding a VOB file to your project and there is no audio, this could happen for a couple of reasons.

What operating system are you using?

Open this VOB in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy the text and paste it to this forum.

This will tell us if there actually is audio on the file and, if so, what the specifications of that audio are.

You should not be using Freemake or other software to convert your video.

Is this video on a DVD? If so, put the DVD into your computer's DVD drive and then, in Premiere Elements, go to Add Media/ From DVD Camera or Computer Drive. Premiere Elements will then copy the video from the disc and convert it to an editable video format.
