Premiere 2024 - Copy video segments between different projects

Hi

I'm on 2024 version....

I have 2 projects going on, and now i want to merge some video segments from one to the other... 

Can anyone suggest a way to do this?

If i was able to open both projects at the same time, i asusme i could copy and paste, but i also understand this is not possible in 2024 version to open 2 projects at same time.

You can export a movie from one project to your hard drive and import that movie as a video in another project.

You won't be able to change any pre-existing edits.

If you used Premiere Pro, you could copy and paste.

Thanks. yeh i was hoping there was a slightly simpler way eg copy and paste even tho im on 2024.
