Premiere Elements 13 media offline

I am getting the Media Offline message for several of my project assets. I have everything on an external harddrive, and that hard drive is plugged in. I don't understand why it is not finding my files. The missing project assets have the green and red recycle arrows and they have a different long name ascribed to them.

Unless you've mapped your drives, external hard drives can sometimes change driver letters and lose their connection to the program.

You'll need to either re-link your media files or manually set your external drive to the letter it was initially assigned.

Thanks Steve. Can you explain how to do those two things.

By re-link do you mean re-import into Project Assets? I don't get a pop-up box that says "where is...?" just the pop-up with options "skip" "skip all" "offline" "offline all" and "cancel".

Google for "change drive letters on a Mac".  I did and there were lots of choices.  Pick your favorite!
