Premiere Elements 14 freezing out on IMac

Hello guys hope

you can help me out, currently using IMac 27in late 2015 with Premiere Elements 14, i just started working and keep on freezing out and every time I'm losing my work and started all over again and again and again, I updated my iMac to Catalina and same thing happens. Please   help me I'm running out of patience. Thank you guys.
