Premiere elements 18 having a video to work, the play function does not work

Having a video ready on timeline aerea to work, it doesn´t play even I click play several times, what happens, does is happen recently ..... help

Premiere Elements 2020 (version 18) works well.  That it doesn't for you is highly unusual.  However, without knowing a lot more about your project, media, setting and computer it is impossible to guess at anything that could help.

Please use the free MediaInfo and post a screenshot the properties of your media in tree view:

Also, what are the complete computer specs, including hard drives, (how many, what kind, what is on each, and how full)?
