I think you're saying that you've added an MOV to your project's timeline but you're not seeing its video portion. Is that right?

 

MOVs can be made up of any of dozens of codecs. Open the MOV in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy the text from this report and paste it to this forum. Once we know the detailed specs of this file, we'll better be able to advise you.

 

It also may be helpful to know what operating system you're using.

Change extension to mp4, mts, mpg or avi. See if that will do the trick.
