Premiere Elements 2022 crashes when trying to load FX Options

Premiere Elements 2022 Trial crashes when trying to load FX Options.  Completley freees up the whole computer to the point where I have to restart the computer.

iMac M1, 16 gig ram, 512 SSD, running Big Sur

Since this is a brand new purchase, I'd recommend you hook up with Customer Care via chat and let them fix what's up.

Macs are a bit harder to tinker with than PCs. Plus the program was just released. So there may be some bugs for Adobe to work out.

I have tried this but it keeps saying that free versions are unsupported and i can't seem to get by their automated chat system to acutally talk to someone......

on the 3rd attempt to install premiere elements, the FX opiton worked .  Thanks for any suggestions thaat were posted.
