No, I don't work for Adobe. I'm posting only because anyone that wants to try out video editing might find this a good excuse to get started.
In the USA there is an annual event where the Elements products are priced at a significant discount. The sale will be on until the end of November. Normal is $100. The sale is at $60. Buying direct from Adobe even gets you a 30 day satisfaction return policy!
The combo with both Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements is $90 on the sale.

I bought the v2021 combo a year ago for $97.55 (with tax) at Amazon (I always buy a disc version when it is available) and 2021 does everything I need... but if I didn't already have the combo, I would buy now

John,
I'm not promoting habitual upgrades. My suggestion is aimed at anyone thinking about video editing as a new venture. Premiere Elements is a great way to get stared with quality video editing, especially at this sale price.
There is one new feature that may be relevant to many. Posts here about changing aspect ratios and re-framing for social media come up regularly. The 2022 version as some tools that make that easy and effective. All the basic trims, transitions, music tracks, effects, etc. show little change.

I am not part of that target audience, so that new feature isn't enough to make me buy the new version
I sometimes post a picture to face book, but never a video
But, as I said, if I didn't already have v2021 I would buy the v2022 combo now
