Premiere Elements crashes when "save" or "Save As"

Hi,

this is of interest to me. New user, recent purchase.

Making a slideshow of photos, with music.

Premier Elements 2021.  Every day I get at least one freeze when I do a Save-As.  I must kill it and restart, losing that work session.  Unbelievable.   I'm starting to suspect it is when I attempt to Add Text --Standard, between some slides on the video line.

Thoughts on what this could be?

Do not count on Windows to be fully up to date when it comes to device drivers
Go to the vendor site to be sure you have an updated driver for your graphic adapter
ATI Driver https://www.amd.com/en/support
There are also intermittent reports that the newest driver is not always the best driver due to driver bugs or compatibility issues, so you MAY need to try an earlier driver version

Thank you for that. I didn't know to consider drivers.  I'll look into that.
