Premiere Elements using stills

I am looking to buy Premiere Elements. Can it be used to create a slideshow from stills only?

Yes.  Premiere Elements is very good at making slideshows.  Even RAW formats are supported.

In fact, there are four different ways to make slideshows with Premiere Elements. Depending on how much control you want over the process and what kind of video you'd like to produce from them.
