Premiere Elements will not start. It used to!

I purchased it earlier this year and it worked fine. Haven't used it in a while and now it won't even start. No error messages, no nothing. I've gone through all the fixes on the forums except to remove all Adobe products and reinstall them. That would be a very last resort since I have several Adobe programs. If anyone has anything that has worked I'll give it a go. Windows 10 is up to date. i7-3770K CPU @ 3.5GHz, 16 GB RAM,  NVIDIA GeForce GT 640 video, 64 bit, C:=Kingston SV300S37A240G 240 GB SSD. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks in advance for any help!

nVidia released a series of really buggy drivers in November and December. Makes sure you've got the latest, directly from the nVidia site.

Thanks for the reply. I updated from the link you provided. Everything went well with the update but still, Adobe Premiere Elements will not start.

The vast majority of the will-not-start complaints over the past couple of months have been because of the nVidia graphics drivers.

If that's not it, I don't know what else it would be.

Did you get any message while trying to launch Premiere Elements?

No, no messages. Except for the "working" icon, it's just as if I'd done nothing at all.
