Candid Moments

I've added an adjustment layer with several effects to "video 2" so it will cover my entire video. While in premiere elements the video looks great so I use the "candid moments" feature to extract pics but the pics are only from the video and do not reflect effects I've put in adjustment layer. How can I fix that?
