Severe lag when scrubbing.

I am using APE15 on Wll. I am editing individual clips in the edit window but when I drag the cursor to scrub through the clip, the video is pausing and I then have to wait several seconds for it to catch up with me. Is there any way to scrub smoothly? I assume the graphics are overloading but I have 32GB RAM, Ryzen 9 CPU and GeForce RTX 3060 graphics. Any help would be appreciated.

E15 might not be compatible with W11.

Try and set to Windows8 compatible mode.

On some systems this can happen when the audio processing gets overloaded.  Check Preferences > Audio Hardware > Default Input and select "No Input".
