Sound and picture is not syncronised when I import mpeg-films to Adobe Premiere Elements 13

I use Adobe Premiere Elements 13 and have a new problem. The sound and picture are no longer syncronised when I import mpeg-films. The sound is 2-3 seconds ahead of the picture. The original films are 0,5 to 1,0 Gb and are syncronised. What can be the couse of this problem and how can I fix it?

Open one of your MPEGS in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy the text and paste it to this forum. Once we know the specs of your MPEG we'll better be able to advise you.
