The undo option in Edit?

Hi all does anyone know what has happened to the undo option in Edit? If I highlght a section by mistake I used to be able and undo it but now this option is not available

How are you undoing?  The usual is pressing Ctrl+Z.  

For undoing a selection, mouse click on any blank space or another selection.

I just tried this and it worked, thank you so much.
In the past I used to go to edit and use 'Undo' which is no longer
available after the software was updated.

But your way is much easier.
