I purchased Premier Elements 14 and have been using it for several years.
I recently upgraded computers and uninstalled it on the original PC and installed it on my new PC.
When starting Premier, I get a message saying "The serial number is already in use by the maximium allowed computers. You must deactivate another computer or provide another valid serial number to use the product again on this computer"
I have used the "retry activation option" but still get the message. If I close the message window it prompts me "Are you sure you want to quit" There have been times when I selcet YES that the window closes and then Premier starts and runs as normal, but it not longer will open and run.
I have completely uninstalled Premier from my previous computer, turned it off and have tried to reinstall it on my new computer, but still get this error message.
I am not sure how to resolve this, any help would be appreciated.

Did you DE-activate before uninstalling on the other computer?
When you can't deactivate a serial number
BE SURE TO ONLY ASK FOR ACTIVATION SUPPORT TO ADJUST YOUR ACTIVATION COUNT
You may need to PERSIST or TRY AGAIN to find a support agent with more experience
Be sure to remain signed in with your Adobe ID before accessing the link
