Unable to reinstall Premier 2015 after new drive install

My drive died and I had to reinstall the Premier 2015 products on the new drive. I did the download from the My Products page and entered the serial number listed there (which Adobe has said is a valid serial number), but I get an error that this is an invalid serial number. I have had this problem in past years and support has had a workaround but this time they seem unable (more likely unwilling to help) and just want to push me to upgrade. I'm on Windows 10 and very happy with this version of Premier -- I really don't want to spend the money on an upgrade. Any help would be appreciated.

There isn't a product called Premiere 2015. However, if you mean Premiere Elements version 15, try this:

Close the program and right-click on it. Select Run as Administrator.

I don't know why but this often makes the serial number work when other means don't.
