I just started using Premiere Elements 2024, and for a few videos I was using the unsharp mask filter. I had a few weeks break from my video editing and when I returned to the program I couldn't find unsharp mask, only "sharpen". Where is unsharp mask in the filter menu. Did Adobe take it out, or am I just failing to see the settings?
Thanks for answer

I don't recall "unsharp mask" in Premiere Elements. I could not find it in the 2023 or 2024 versions. Nor could I find it listed in the online instructions for masks: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/effects-reference.html#sharpen_windows_only

Thanks for the reply. When I started using Premiere Elements in Dec. I found "unsharp Mask" in the menu similar to the RGB menu area, where there is a "more" option that has sliders. It was where "sharpen" is, there was a "more" option with unsharp mask and sliders for adjustment. (and also option for numerical input). It's been a busy month. But I couldn't have mis-remembered it. I have recollection of using small adjustments on a few videos with numerical input. I don't have any other video editing programs so it couldn't have been another program. (And, yes, I have the Muvipix book, and searched online with no reference). Makes me feel like I'm going crazy

Photoshop Elements has unsharpen mask though.

Thanks for the reply. Can it be used on videos? I only have Photoshop CS5 pre-subscription era version....but I could get Photoshop Elements. Especially if it can edit videos also.
