Video is blurry

My video is blurry when I pull it into the timeline. Even when I render everything it's still blurry. Though when I pull a text (can be empty) on top of it, it becomes sharp. This is very annoying and I would like to always have a sharp video.

First go to the Edit menu and tell us what appears on the General page under Project Settings.

Then open your original video in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy that text and paste it to this forum.

There are a number of reasons your video isn't appearing clear. We'll help you troubleshoot it, but we'll need this information to get started.

Need some help!  What version are you using?  What computer do you have?  What is the source of your video?  What are the project settings?  How did you create the project settings?

Premiere Elements does not automatically make videos blurry!
