Hi There,

I imported my video into premiere elements 15 and the video plays fine for about 4 seconds then becomes choppy and out of sync with the audio.

Video was filmed with a Canon vixia hf r700 in 1920x1080 60p

Computer specs are:

Processor - AMD A8-7410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics 2.20 Ghz

RAM - 8 GB

64 bit operating system

thanks!

Your computer might be underpowered to process avchd files which are highly compressed.

Thanks for replying!

I re-filmed using 1920x1080 30p mp4 format instead and everything worked perfectly

Hi. I have the same issue. Video and Audio are in sync for the entire edited video except in the last clip, the video is faster than the audio. Is there a way to sync without having to re-edit?

Filmed using iPhone 7 in 1080HD 60fps.

Is this an issue with my computer or Premiere Elements not being able to handle videos in 60fps?

The issue is with your phone it records in variable framerate.

You need to convert to constant framerate before bringing it into Elements.

You can do this with HandBrake
