I've been seeing a number of posts earlier this Spring with people experiencing crashes and bugs of PE 2018 on Mac OS 10.12 and higher. If this is still the case, then is it best to run 10.11 OS with it? I've got a training coming up in a month and want this sorted out with my students both on Mac and PC. Thanks for an Adobe rep. who's on top of this to answer! Gratefully, Bill

I've used it on El Capitan with no problems.
But the new generation of OS -- Sierra and later -- seems to be problematic, based on what I've seen on this forum.
This is, by the way, a user to user forum. If you want to contact an Adobe rep, you'll need to do so via chat.

Thank you kindly Steve. It's quite a hassle to revert back to El Cap. I hope Adobe gets their act together on this. Gratefully, Bill

Actually, I'm certainly not recommending you back-grade to an earlier Mac operating system just so you can run Premiere Elements. I'm only indicating that the new generation of Mac OS operating systems are proving problematic for Adobe's products. Just an observation.
I'm also not blaming Adobe. Apple has a tendency to make its products more and more exclusive.
So before you roll your computer back to El Capitan, give the latest version of the program a test drive on the latest Mac OS. it might work just fine.
And, if you buy version 2018, you'll get free support from Adobe via chat. And they'll do everything they can to make the program work for you.
