When I download my photos into the Adobe Premiere Elements 15 program, some of them are distorted as the video plays. How can this be corrected? They are all jpeg files and all are a high resolution. What gives?

Distorted in the output? Distored during editing? Premiere Elements preview preferences? Computer specifications? JPEG pixel dimensions? Screen shots?
