Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 Smooth Scroll - bug?

Edit -> Preferences -> General -> Timeline Playback Auto-Scrolling is set to "Smooth Scroll".

I would expect the playback head to stay in the center of the screen, instead it scroll left and right as per default behaviour.

Can anybody confirm or correct me?

Running Windows 10, NVidea 1070 and latest driver.

Thanks

Got it working - not sure exactly how, but I'm convinded it's a issue with dual monotors (turning off a monitor did the trick).
Once I've got decent steps to repro will report to Adobe.

The preference choice works on my Windows machine with version 2019.  So, I don't think it is a bug.

However, it changes depending on how much of the video is visible.   The sequence needs to be longer than the visible Timeline in order for the head to stay centered.  Expand the view and see what happens.

Does not work unfortunately. Can anybody confirm this on the 2020 version?
