I was wondering if anyone has experience, or if Adobe staff has information with using Premiere Elements 18 (or previous Premiere Elements versions) with a CPU using an AMD Ryzen 7 1700 processor and how it compares to using a CPU with an Intel processor. Is one faster than the other when it comes to rendering or playback?

Thanks!!

Look up your processor here:  PassMark Intel vs AMD CPU Benchmarks - High End http://trakax.com/

Anything above 9,000 or 10,000 should work pretty well.  I do OK with a CPU that ranks at 7600.

Your processor rates a 15,000 in Bill's benchmark link. That's much more than adequate!
