Bad quality after render?

The video is in 1080 and looked perfect up until I went to add transitions. It ran laggy so I rendered it. Now the quality looks like a small child could puke up the same image. Any ides as to why?

Assuming you mean version 2018 -- are you talking about the preview you see in the Monitor panel?

You do know that's a preview, right? It's a low resolution preview generated by the program so that it will run more smoothly. It does not represent what your final movie will look like.

Output a sample of your movie and a high-resolution video. If your project is properly set it, it should not look remotely like child puke.

WARNING: If anything on your computer screen looks like child puke, you either need to update your video driver or wipe off your computer monitor.
