Can't start Adobe Premiere Elements 9 - possible conflict with soundcard?

I've been using Adobe Premiere Elements 9 for years, but ithe program suddenly won't start. Here's the error message:

The Saffire program mentioned has something to do with an external soundcard I use with other programs, but I never used it with Adobe Premiere though.

Premiere Elements 9 is so old, it may be impossible to figure out how to run it on any computer that has a more current operating system.   But, I don't see why a sound card would cause it to crash.
